Mission Statement

The sponsorship of The Minneapolis Institute of Art Antiques Show by the Decorative Arts Curatorial Council has a two-fold purpose:

  • First, to raise money for The Minneapolis Institute of Arts acquisition fund for decorative arts.

  • Second, to build a top-quality antiques dealer show specializing in fine European, Asian and American furniture and decorative arts of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.

It proposes to not only educate the public—its students and collectors—for the enrichment of the community, but to ensure continuing public support for the activities of The Minneapolis Institute of Arts.
